If the answer is “Yes" this is the job for you_ **_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a contract, full time, 40 hours per week, Program Supervisor to join our Immigration & Settlement Service in Edmonton, AB. _** **_This is a one year contract position (eligible for benefits)._** You will be joining an established Agency that is guided by faith to care for and bring hope to people in need with humility, compassion and respect. With more than 60 years of service delivery, Catholic Social Services is one of the largest multi-function social services agencies in Canada, with more than 1800 staff, and hundreds of volunteers delivering 100+ programs throughout Edmonton and Central Alberta. **Job Summary**: Reporting to a Director, the Program Supervisor oversees evaluation, research, training, and reporting activities in the Immigration and Settlement Service. The Program Supervisor is required to coordinate with Program Managers, Team Leaders, and staff between programs to ensure accurate information to inform funder accountability, quality assurance, and professional development initiatives. **Job Duties** - Manage Service-wide evaluation initiatives, such as the development and implementation of program logic models and collection of outcomes data through surveys, interviews, focus groups and other available data sources; - Lead activities to build evaluation capacity of Service staff; - Coordinate and assist with research projects with internal and external stakeholders; - Lead professional development initiatives within the Service, including on-boarding of new staff through group-based orientation, identifying ongoing training and skill development needs, and organization of annual staff development events; - Lead the development of funding proposals, including coordination of relevant research, data and statistics, and case studies; - Lead and contribute to reporting requirements for funder and agency accountability; - Oversee data collection requirements for funder and agency accountability, including managing internal databases and funder-mandated systems (e.g., iCARE); - Liaise with community stakeholders as required; - Represent the Service on the Performance and Quality Improvement Committee; - Organize and participate in meetings as required; - Supervise staff and participate in personnel matters including interviewing, hiring, training, and/or managing staff performance; - Support programs with consultation, decision making and problem solving as required; - Represent the Agency in events and committees as required; - Perform other related duties as assigned. **Education & Experience** - Degree in human services or equivalent - 2 years of supervisory experience working in a culturally-diverse environment - Experience with various data collection methods, analysis and reporting - Experience with project design, management and evaluation - Experience with community-based research and/or evaluation methodologies considered a strong asset **Skills and Abilities**: - Knowledgeable about immigration, settlement and adjustment issues affecting newcomers. - Strategic thinker who is able to analyze internal and external environmental factors in order to identify current and future opportunities, challenges and risks and ensure ongoing service excellence. - Superior technical writing and facilitation skills, including past experience with government proposals and reporting - Superior computer skills including experience with client management databases, Excel data compilation and analysis, and videoconferencing platforms. - Fluency in ethical practices in research and evaluation for the protection of the clients, staff and the Agency. - Ability to prioritize evaluation projects within the service based on internal and external priorities and pressures. - Ability to liaise with postsecondary institutions and support the vetting of research partnerships based on internal capacity and alignment with Agency and Service-level priorities. - Ability to communicate complex information across various stakeholders and tailor messaging to audience. - We offer_ _a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package and a supportive working environment._ **_We embrace diversity and offer equal opportunities to all qualified applicants regardless of origin, culture, ethnicity, age, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and people of faith or no faith._
