We just need you to sell it. **The Role** We are looking for a high-performance **Technical Sales Specialist** to take this product on a high-growth trajectory. You will be the primary engine for business development, tasked with building partnerships with Trailer OEMs, trucking fleets, and heavy equipment dealers across North America. While this role requires business acumen, your primary directive is simple**:Get the hitch on more trucks.** **Key Responsibilities** - **New Business Development (Hunting)**: Identify and close sales with heavy-haul fleet operators and independent owner-operators. - **OEM & Dealer Partnerships**: Establish Wolf Hitch as a factory option with major Trailer OEMs and set up aftermarket dealer networks. - **Technical Consulting**: Act as a trusted advisor to Fleet Managers, explaining the ROI of safety (rollover prevention) and efficiency (increased payload/tridem axle allowances). - **Territory Management**: Plan effective sales trips across Canada and the US to visit clients, trade shows, and active job sites (forestry roads, oil fields, etc.). - **Feedback Loop**: Relay market feedback and technical requirements from the field back to our engineering and machining teams. **Skills & Qualifications** - **Heavy Haul Industry Experience**: Proven track record selling capital equipment, trailers, or aftermarket parts to the heavy trucking industry. - **Technical Knowledge**: - Deep understanding of **truck/trailer configurations** (e.g., Pony Trailers, Transfer Dumps, End Dumps). - Familiarity with **Weights & Dimensions regulations** (DOT/Transport Canada), specifically how axle weight distribution impacts payload. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to discuss mounting requirements with mechanics and shop foremen. - **Sales Mechanics**: Experience managing a long sales cycle for high-value items ($20k+ unit price). - **Communication**: capable of presenting a technical ROI case to a CEO in a boardroom, and then explaining the install process to a mechanic in the shop. - **Digital Proficiency**: Competent with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage a pipeline of hundreds of leads. **Assets** - Existing connections of contacts within Trailer OEMs (e.g., Arne's, Lode King, Doepker) or Heavy Dealers (Finning, Brandt, etc.). - Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in machining/fabrication environments. - Understanding of "Load Transfer Ratio" and dynamic stability concepts. **Compensation** - Base Salary: 60,000-80,000 Plus commissions - **Aggressive Commission/Performance Structure**: We want you to blow this up, and we are prepared to reward high-volume sales accordingly. - Company vehicle / Travel allowance provided.
