**Position** **Summary**:To create product made from recycled plastic within set quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fastens parts together with screws using power tools and hand tools.
- Places parts in jig and force parts together for assembly.
- Fastens sections together and attaches brackets.
- Reads work orders to determine materials required and time required to complete work order.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
- 5S and preventative maintenance as required.
- Places parts on router table and routers edges to produce a smooth finish.
- Removes nubs from parts using band saw and discards into scrap bin.
- Cuts triangle pieces for chair arms using chop saw to set standard dimensions
- Other duties as required.

**Performance Measurements**:

- Produce assembled products per set standards
- Always Maintains a clean work area
- Follows company policies & procedures and safety rules

**Education/Experience Required**:

- Previous furniture assembly experience
- Experience using power and hand tools (saws, routers, drills)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads (60lbs), physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, combination of pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, twisting

**Essential Skills**:Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, computer use, continuous learning

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
