**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support individuals with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or support roles within senior care, nursing homes, or group home settings is preferred
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties and maintain a clean living space for clients.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $17.63-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 4 years (required)
- Su: 1 year (required)
- Support worker: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid and CPR, vulnerable sector check,CPI certificate (preferred)
