Produce Clerk

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Produce Clerk. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the produce department, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the availability of fresh and high-quality produce.

**Responsibilities**:

- Stocking and replenishing produce displays to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked department
- Inspecting produce for quality, freshness, and proper labeling
- Rotating produce to minimize waste and ensure the oldest items are sold first
- Assisting customers in locating and selecting produce items
- Providing exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce department
- Following proper procedures for handling and storing produce to ensure food safety

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
