**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Service & maintenance of all types of commercial, multi-family residential & light industrial plumbing systems.
- Typical daily work consists of leak investigations & repairs, backflow testing & repairs, PRV cleaning & tuning, drainage system servicing, piping replacements, fixture repairs, pump repairs, boiler troubleshooting & repairs.
- Provide support to apprentices with troubleshooting & training, as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Plumbing Journeyperson in the Plumbing service industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with servicing high-rise plumbing & hydronic systems, boilers, pumps, pressure reducing valves, and backflow devices is required.
- Must have a valid BC red-seal plumbing ticket & Class-B gas ticket.
- Class-A gas ticket & cross connection ticket (considered an asset & will be compensated accordingly).
- A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required. Must provide a copy of drivers abstract.
- Must be highly dependable, work well under pressure, and capable to work both independently & as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail to successfully execute assigned tasks is critical.
- Demonstrate strong written & verbal communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and / or language barriers with customers calmly & effectively.

**WORK COMMITTMENT**
- At a minimum, must be available during the core business hours of 8:00AM - 4:30 PM (with a 30-min meal break), Monday through Friday. (40 to 45 hours a week, on average).
- Ability to attend occasional overtime call outs is required.
- Must take part in **rotating weekend** on-call shifts to satisfy our customers’ needs.
- You will be working mostly in the lower mainland, with occasional trips into the Fraser Valley and sea to sky corridor.

- Hourly Rate - Probationary Period (first 3 months): $55/Hour.
- Hourly Rate - Permanent Position: UA Local 516 Agreement.
- Full union benefits and RRSP package, following probationary period.
