Calico is changing the way brands big and small, source, produce and buy custom products at scale. With funding from leading VCs, we want to make custom sourcing from around the world as easy as shopping online.

This is an opportunity to be the first member of our marketing/demand generation team with an opportunity to grow into a leader within the org. We are looking for a highly talented and passionate marketing, growth, and demand generation professional with execution experience who is comfortable in both B2B and B2C environments.

This role will shape the direction and growth of our company and significantly help propel our vision for a tech enabled fashion and retail world.

As the Marketing Lead at Calico, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition
- Identifying target markets and defining our positioning and messaging
- End to end campaign management: overseeing all marketing activities including content marketing, digital marketing, events, and PR
- Content creation: Ability to create impactful marketing collateral and thought leadership
- Analyzing marketing metrics and optimizing campaigns to achieve maximum ROI
- Ideating, developing, and executing creative demand/lead gen opportunities across multiple channels
- Working closely with the leadership team to align marketing efforts with business objectives to hit key milestones for new customer acquisition and revenue targets

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- 5+ years of experience in B2B and/or SaaS marketing
- Have experience or an interest in the fashion or retail industry
- A proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in marketing tools and technologies (e.g. CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms, SEO optimization)
- Experience with budget management and financial planning
- Past startup experience
