The Linen Assistant Staff (LAS) member provides laundry service(s) for St. Michael’s Hospital.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Fulfill all unit and department quotas as required.
Deliver all quotas to each unit or department.
Collect all empty clean linen carts.
Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and Providence Healthcare’s Health and Safety Policies.
Adhere to Providence Healthcare’s Policies and Procedures, including Incident Reporting Policy.
Actively demonstrate the Mission and Values set forth by Unity Health Toronto.
Complete other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED**:
Completion of Grade 12 preferred;
Good knowledge and basic mathematics skills;
Must be able to push heavy carts up to 40 lbs and have good range of motion skills;
Must be able to tolerate high temperatures and humidity in this environment;
Good command of the English language, both oral and written;
Very good attendance record;
Good performance record.
