Hamilton, Canada Pro Inspection Ltd. Full time

**Pro Inspection is looking for Pipeline Inspectors with a minimum of 5 years of pipeline inspection experience with API 1169 Previous experience as a Chief or Assistant Chief would be an asset.**

**This is for ongoing integrity digs throughout Ontario.**

Below are the qualifications for the roles listed above.

**Pipeline Welding Inspector**:
The pipeline welding inspector performs QA or QC activities with respect to construction of the pipelines as per the applicable documents.
- Performs duties designated by the Chief Inspector in accordance with the job requirements outlined in the assigned activity and the Client Company specifications and codes.
- Adheres to and enforces Client Company safety policies.
- Becomes thoroughly familiar with the Client Company's contract specifications and enforces them.
- Keeps daily log of incidents relating to the construction in the assigned activity.
- Enforces Client Company welding procedures, qualifications, and specifications.
- Inspects welding technique and equipment.
- Inspects all welds visually.
- Reviews radio graphic film report daily when required.
- Ensures that all rejected welds are repaired and replaced in accordance with Client's specifications.

Education Industry Certification Required Experience
- Application of CSA Z662 Clause 7.10.1.1.
- certification by CWB as mentioned in the CSA W178.2 standard
- Technologist plus 8 years of relevant industry experience ISO 9001 certification is not mandatory but will be considered an asset As per CMDS
- Pressure equipment/welding trade certification
- Trade or CWB (CSA Z662) or API 1169 certification
- CWB level II with 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Grade school diploma Industry experience
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- 1.4 Structural
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Computer skills
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Hours dependent on inclement weather
- WHMIS/TDG
- Pipeline Construction Safety Training is not mandatory but will be considered an asset.
