The position of the
_Body Shop Assistant_
- _is a crucial part of Crestview Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram’s everyday process in making sure vehicles coming in are completed in a timely manner. This person should be effective at ensuring the shop is clean and be meticulous about accurate inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a clutter-free workplace
- Maintaining clean and organized parts room
- Going through work orders and retrieving parts
- Delivery of parts to Auto Body Technicians
- Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard.
- Communicate any issues to the Parts Manager in a timely matter.
- Be a team player and assist co-workers whenever you can.
- Follow all TDS, and WHMIS guidelines
- Operate and use of equipment such as floor scrubber in a safe matter.
- Other assigned tasks & responsibilities

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Time management - managing one’s own time.
- Data Entry - ability to type efficiently to maintain accurate inventory tracking records.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to meet shop deadlines
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Class 5 License
- Motivated self-starter that can productively work alone and in teams/groups to solve problems and get work done
- Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as-needed/required basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 Kilograms.
