As we continue to expand and grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated **Store Manager** to join our team and lead the operations of our store located in Nanaimo (Northridge Village).

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership & Staff Management**:

- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail associates.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products, policies, and customer service standards.
- Foster a positive, productive work environment where team members feel valued and supported.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support.
- Handle employee scheduling, time-off requests, and ensure the store is appropriately staffed during peak and off-peak hours.

**Inventory Management & Ordering**:

- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that products are always in stock and properly displayed.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Order products based on customer demand, seasonal trends, and sales data.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and best pricing.

**Customer Service Excellence**:

- Deliver outstanding customer service by training and guiding staff to assist customers in choosing the best products based on their needs and preferences.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues quickly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Promote a positive shopping experience that fosters customer loyalty and repeat business.

**Operational Efficiency & Compliance**:

- Ensure the store operates smoothly, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily store cleanliness.
- Enforce all health and safety standards and ensure compliance with local regulations surrounding the sale of vape products.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to streamline store processes and improve efficiency.

**Sales & Marketing**:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and setting sales goals.
- Implement promotions and in-store marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer traffic.
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment that promotes product sales and highlights new arrivals.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a vape shop, retail store, or similar environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, motivate employees, and drive results.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, ordering processes, and retail operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for delivering a positive customer experience.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of vaping products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements is a plus.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Regular schedule would be 8-4, Monday to Friday, but must be willing to cover shifts, if or as needed.
- Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
