Job Responsibilities:

- Engage with children in a supporting and nurturing manner.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety of facilities.
- Demonstrate a proactive, appropriate and positive approach to behaviour management issues and conflict resolution situations.
- Assist in program development and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Minimum Level 1 Childcare Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months through online course).
- Clear Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector check
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience working with children preferred.

Hours:

- 21 Hours a week
- 2:30PM- 6:00PM Monday to Friday
- 9:00AM- 6:00PM PD Day (every other Friday)

Government top up is applicable and in addition to hourly rate for those that have Level 1-Level 3 Child Care Certification.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
