Qms Auditor

**Key Job Elements**

Conduct Internal Audits, initiate Corrective Action Requests, initiate revisions and maintain QMS procedures through coordinating with functional leads in accordance with GDLS-Canada ISO QEHSEn System.
Develop Control Plans, FMEA's in response to audit findings.
Assess business processes for compliance to QMS.
Communicate with the onsite DND Quality Assurance representatives.
Maintain metrics on the following applicable audit, corrective action and DND CARs.
Investigate specific non-conformances upon request.
Participate on ISO Core Team.
Preparation for ISO Annual Audit.
Comply with GDLS-Canada Trade Compliance, Safety, Security Rules and Regulations.

**Position Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications**

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science and/or Statistics.
ISO Lead Auditor Certification.
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor / Engineer.
Previous experience as QMS Auditor and/or implementing a Quality Management System.
Strong written communicator.
Eligible for Professional Engineering certification.

**Physical Conditions and Hazards**:
Production shop floor support employees are responsible for maintaining support for touch labour and as such may spend a significant time in the production environment. Production shop floor support employees may be exposed to loud noise, dust, weld fume, paint and extreme temperatures.

Production shop floor support employees may also assist the touch labour with the movement parts equipment as requested, this may include light lifting. In addition, Production shop floor support employees may be required to complete various administrative tasks depending on the job function

Computer based desk work is also required throughout the day.

Production/Sustainment shop floor support employees may be required to work shift work which may include rotation between day, afternoon, and night shifts. Additionally, overtime may be required on an as needed basis and may include weekend work.

**Physical Demands Description**:

Usual mobility demands required are standing, walking, sitting, and stair climbing to access upper offices and process work envelopes some stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and crouching may be required at times while assisting workers or accessing low placed items.
