Landscape Labourer

Prodigy Property Maintenance is a growing landscape company in the Kanata area with lots of opportunities.

We are seeking reliable, punctual, and hardworking individuals in commercial landscaping services to join our crews.
- Responsibilities (Apr-Nov) include:_
- Operate various small tools and equipment.
- Cutting and maintaining lawns; mowing, edging, and trimming.
- Gardening; planting flowers, weed control, fertilizing, and mulching.
- Yard clean-ups; ensuring properties are clean and tidy from all debris.
- Qualifications:_
- Knowledge of landscape equipment such as; lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, etc.
- Knowledge and ability to differentiate flowers, plants, weeds, soil, mulch, etc.
- Must have a positive and professional team attitude.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and be engaged.
- No minimum level of education is required.
- Physical Demands/Work Environment:_
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold, humidity, and sometimes rain.
- Ability to walk, stand, or crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
- Willing and able to work varied and long shifts (full time hours).
- Wearing proper personal protective equipment at all times.
- Additional Requirements:_
- Must have a clean and valid G2 or G driver's license.
- Personal transportation is required to and from the shop located at 255 Kanata Ave. in Kanata. Company transportation will be provided to job sites for the duration of shifts.
- Provide your own steel-toed boots.
