Early Childhood Educator

RECE position available to work in an established Child Care Centre in Rexdale, ON (located inside a Toronto Public School).
**Qualifications**:
Must be registered with the College of ECE and in good standing.
Must have working experience in a Child Care Centre.
Knowledge of CCEYA, How Does Learning Happen, Early Learning For Every Child Today (ELECT) and understanding of Toronto Children’s Services Early Learning and Care Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI), an asset.
Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Requirements**:
Valid standard First Aid and CPR-Level C Certification
Up to date Vulnerable Sector Check
All required immunization up-to-date and clear Health Assessment
Valid Food Handlers Certificate, is an asset
Ability to work with children ages 18-months to 12 years of age
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to change and flexible to accommodate change to meet the needs of the Centre
Ability to multitask
Experience working with children with varied abilities, is an asset
Self directed effective time management and organizational skills
**Job Type**:
Must be able and flexible to work Monday to Friday and work the hours and shifts of the centre and with any age groups when required
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
