Reporting to the Manager, Business Computing, the Data Integration Specialist is responsible for implementing data integrations and optimizations across various business systems, automating workflows, and advancing a business analytics environment and a data warehouse.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with various business units to identify, map, prioritize, document, and implement optimization solutions and data integrations;
- Works closely with the Technology team to contribute and refine the organization's data architecture, reporting, and analytics environment;
- Define and develop data integration processes between core business systems;
- Implement and improve a data warehouse to effectively store and manage the organization’s data;
- Develop data extraction processes to pull data from the organization's business systems to its data warehouse;
- Establish a business analytics environment to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization;
- Identify and address data entry, retrieval, change, and delete issues, and work to ensure a high level of data availability;
- Support and enforce data privacy and security protocols;
- Recommend, develop, implement, and troubleshoot process tools to ensure quality, integrity and security of data; and,
- Evaluate and select appropriate systems, tools, and services to build and maintain the organization's data management processes and environment.

**KEY SUCCESS MEASURES**
- Key data integrations are implemented on a timely basis;
- Workflows and processes across Vector are automated and optimized as appropriate;
- Ensure enterprise data consistency, accuracy, currency and flow; and,
- Foster active communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on data integration initiatives.

**PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- 1-3 years of work experience in a similar or related data integration role is preferred;
- Experience with a range of integration and data management tools and platforms and relevant scripting and programming languages;
- Understanding APIs, Web Services, and Microservices: this technical expertise allows for the creation of connectors and adapters necessary for integrating disparate systems;
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience;
- Experience with Salesforce is highly advantageous;
- Familiarity with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping; and,
- Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices.
