We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Cloud Team Lead to spearhead our cloud team. This role will focus on the development of our cloud services, contributing to the growth of our secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud payment platform. You will play a key role in leading a team of backend developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of robust and innovative services aligned with business and compliance requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of our cloud-based payments acceptance platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security across all services.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development through coaching, knowledge sharing, and goal setting aligned with individual and team objectives.
- Support our scalable SaaS architecture on AWS cloud.
- Drive technical decision-making and enforce architectural standards and best practices across the development team and cloud platform.
- Lead the integration of EMV (Europay, Mastercard, Visa) specifications and credit card kernel implementations.
- Architect database solutions optimized for financial transaction processing and reporting.
- Ensure PCI DSS and MPoC compliance across all server infrastructure components.
- Lead capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives for cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with the SDK Team Lead to support our client SDKs and ensure seamless integration between mobile client and server components.

**Qualifications**
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or team lead role within Fintech and SaaS environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented design principles and client/server architecture.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, including encryption, authentication, data protection, and compliance with PCI DSS and MPoC standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage, coach, and support team members.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation/CDK).
- Advanced database design and optimization skills (both SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with EMV specifications, payment card processing, and credit card kernels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow engineering teams.

**Preferred**
- Background in financial services or payment processing companies.
- Certifications in AWS, payment industry standards, or relevant technologies.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
