**PT Program Facilitators (Level 2 or 3 ECE's), Monday to Friday 130pm-6pm. Based out of Renfrew Hub.**

The PT Program Facilitator is responsible for providing a positive and safe environment for the children and youth while in our afterschool and day camp programs. The Program Facilitators primary role is to provide support with the programs routine, and design and facilitate daily activities in the following areas to help members develop a positive sense of self, and social and emotional competencies: physical literacy, creative arts, educational pursuits, recreational pursuits, positive lifestyle choices, and living skills programs. Delivery and creation of high-quality activities is fundamental in this role. As well, this position is key in role modeling positive healthy relationships, and encouraging and providing time for children, youth and families to interact while in the program.

**Responsibilities/Accountabilities**

The responsibilities and accountabilities outlined in this position profile may change as the position evolves along with the growth of the Agency. The key responsibilities and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Facilitate purposeful out of school programs and camps for elementary aged children
- Adhere to agency policy and procedures.
- Development of healthy team dynamics and fostering an environment conducive to integrated service delivery.
- Be an ambassador, representing Trellis’ purpose, vision, values and desired outcomes in your day-to-day work.
- Deliver client-centered initiatives, programs, and activities supporting community and client need.
- Ongoing mentorship and development of part time program facilitators with support of Program Lead.
- Provide a safe environment for children, youth, and families to be able to discuss their goals feelings, needs and desires openly.
- Creates program plans that incorporate; Natural supports Framework, Social and Emotional principles, Developmental Relationships, and that are trauma informed.
- Engage and model respectful and appropriate relationships and professional boundaries with children, youth, community, and staff team.
- Coordinate property maintenance and ensure Trellis’ facilities adhere to safety standards.
- Complete program preparation to accommodate seamless program facilitation.
- Responsible for implementing the structure and routine of the club while also facilitating program.
- Opening and closing of the facility.
- Assist with registrations, client files and payments.
- Engage and model effective communication and relationship building with patrons.
- Responsible for maintaining up to date
