Surveillance and Automation System Technician

Megatronics Canada Inc is a fast-growing Surveillance and Automation Systems company in Toronto serving the Condominium market in Toronto & GTA. We are looking for Installation Technicians to work on the installation and maintenance of security cameras, access control systems in condominium and commercial buildings. This is a part-time on call position, offering competitive wages and bonuses. Normal hours of work are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, with rotational on-call for 24/7 service.
- The purpose of this position is to Install, Test, Service and Diagnose CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems and Parking Barriers.
- The Technician will be responsible for (if required):
- Surveying sites prior to installation
- Training and supervising subcontractors
- Booking in/out of Operations centre
- Installation and networking
- Installation of cable and conduit
- Training of the end user
**Courses/Certifications/Training**
- Computer Networking Courses
- Commitment to upgrading and continuing their education
- Minimum of 3 years of security system installation and/or service experience
- Must be computer literate, have networking ability and a good knowledge of operating systems
- Fluent English language written and verbal skills, demonstrated superior people and telephone skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential
- The ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to new ideas and procedures is necessary

- Valid driver’s license
- Must be bondable - criminal record check required
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
