**Job Overview**
The Family Enrichment Program is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our program.
In this role, you will work with young children (six (6) years of age and under) and their families; ensuring their safety as well as promoting their well being and individuality through the creation of inviting, nurturing, and stimulating environments. You may work along side volunteers while caring for the needs of the children, as well, work closely with community partners to advocate and support our families.
**Qualifications**
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education*
- Proof of registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators*
- Minimum of two (2) years work experience with young children
- Current Standard First Aid with Infant and Child CPR (Level C)
- Have experience and understanding of Ontario’s pedagogy “How Does Learning Happen”
- *Individuals with other supporting educational backgrounds (for example Social Service Worker), who are willing to obtain their ECE may be considered, assuming they have years of experience working with young children, and are a good fit in our program.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for families/caregivers with children 0-6 years of age.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children and families.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support learning and development.
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance programs.
- Respond to the needs and concerns of the families and children in the program.
- Support special events and programs as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
