Long Point Eco-Adventures is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals to join our team as Zipline Guides. All guides will report to the course manager who oversees the experience, but all guides are responsible for providing an exceptional and memorable 2.5 hour zipline experience to all clients. Training, safety procedures, and knowledge of local history are all integral components of a zip guide’s role. The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills and has a willingness to work in a team environment. A high level of initiative and dedication is essential to being a Long Point Eco-Adventures employee.

Zipline Guide responsibilities include, but not limited to:
∙ Set up all client gear prior to each tour, as well as ensuring all participants sign the client waiver form

∙ Safely lead, demonstrate and guide guests through the 2.5 Zipline & Canopy Tour

∙ Maintain the highest level of customer service when communicating with all on site guests

∙ Inspect and store all gear including harnesses, helmets, gloves properly on a daily basis

∙ Report any incidents or dangers on course, and complete daily guide log and equipment log

∙ Use positive, open and appropriate communication with all staff members on site

∙ Act as an ambassador for Long Point Eco-Adventures both on and off site

∙ Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications:
∙ High school diploma is required; preference given to those currently enrolled in or those who are graduates of a recognized college/university program

∙ Effectively speak to an adult or youth demographic, whether it be in a group or individual setting

∙ Minimize stressful situations and not have a fear of heights

∙ Pay great attention to detail when it comes to following safety policies & procedures

∙ A strong work ethic, positivity and a willingness to work in a team environment are essential

∙ No experience necessary; outdoor recreation, athletics, and/or instructor/supervisor experience is considered an asset

**All guides must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and in good physical shape. Guides must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays from April 27th
- August 31st and select weekends from September 1st

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
