Skills Required:

- Experience equivalent to graduation from a college or university of recognized standing with emphasis in database administration
- Thorough knowledge of MongoDB and ORACLE relational database system, with the ability to focus on business line objectives
- High level of technical skill and experience in data base administration and design
- Equivalent experience includes 4+ years as a systems designer and programmer, database designer with some supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of operation system typically used for database software such as Unix, Windows, and Cloud Technology
- Nice to have ORACLE OCAC, MS SQL

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Defines and administers data base organization, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation
- Provides experienced technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a data base environment
- Ensures economic and efficient availability of data within adequate safeguards. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Oracle DBMS: 1 year (preferred)
- Oracle Exadata appliance: 1 year (preferred)
- Oracle OEM: 1 year (preferred)
- Oracle Cloud: 1 year (preferred)
- Mongodb adminstration: 1 year (preferred)
- GoldenGate: 1 year (preferred)
