**Overview**:
These Sales Representative roles are for B2B, and Events-specific and offer commission-based compensation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
B2B - Sales Representative
- Sales and business development: Identify and establish relationships with retail stores (i.e. pet stores, grooming salons, grocery stores, specialty shops, veterinary clinics); present products to store owners, buyers, and managers; present and sell products direct to consumers at events, tradeshows and fairs; meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and relationship building
- Product training: Conduct engaging product demonstrations and training sessions for retail staff; ensure retail partners are well-equipped to explain product benefits to their customers
- Account management: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail client accounts; provide exceptional customer service and maintain long-term relationships; monitor inventory levels and assists stores with placing reorders
- Marketing support: Collaborate with the Company’s team to implement promotional strategies; share customer insights and feedback to support product development and marketing efforts
Event
- Sales Representative
- Set up and tear down booth displays at events (lifting up to 25kg)
- Confidently interact with and accurately educate potential customers about the Company’s product
- Promote event-specific offers and drive direct sales
- Maintain inventory and restock displays during events
- Track customer interactions, sales data, and product interest for internal reporting
- Represent the brand professionally and warmly, aligned with Company values of natural health and animal care
- Handle customer objections and questions with empathy and strong product knowledge
- Assist with social media content creation at events (photos, videos, testimonials)
**Qualifications**:
- Genuine love for animals, ideally a pet owner
- Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience _(preferably in pet care and natural health, event experience an asset)_
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for achieving measurable results
- Has a valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to converse in other languages other than English is an asset
- Comfortable conducting in-person visits and training sessions across Canada _(for B2B-Sales Representative)_
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kgs _(for Event-Sales Representative)_
- Weekend availability required _(for Event-Sales Representative)_
- Comfortable using a POS system (Square) and smartphone _(for Event Sales-Representative)_
