**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering knowledgeable advice and product demonstrations when appropriate
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices
- Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and purchase decisions
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are available and well-presented
- Follow proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate transactions and change management
- Assist in store merchandising efforts to ensure the sales floor is inviting, organized, and aligned with company standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and improve overall store performance
- Demonstrate proficiency in retail math for pricing, discounts, and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment to promote safety and efficiency

**Qualifications**
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual abilities being advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales outcomes
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and inventory management within a retail or grocery store setting
- Excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers remotely or over the phone
- Basic math skills for retail transactions, including making change accurately and calculating discounts or totals
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
