Retail/warehouse Assistant

Toronto, Canada Riverside Fabrics Full time

**Hiring for either full or part-time. Flexible & negotiable hours.**

We are seeking a new employee to help with order fulfilment and customer support in our fabric store.

No experience is necessary but knowledge of sewing even only as a hobbyist will be a huge asset.

Skills & Assets
- Knowledge of fabrics and sewing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to lift heavy (22KG) rolls of fabric (required).

Duties
- Assist customers in finding fabrics.
- Packing and fulfilling orders, including accurate measuring and cutting.
- Lifting and carrying rolls of fabric.
- General assistance around the warehouse, e.g. unloading shipments and general tidying.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
