**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist butchers in the preparation and cutting of various meats according to specifications.
- Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery area, including tools and equipment.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and assisting with special requests.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the butchery department.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food handling environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and meat cutting techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role, including developing skills related to butchery practices.
