The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing weddings/events and golf tournaments, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The duties include, but are not limited to:
Works closely with various departments to maintain standards, implement policies, and achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

- Ensure that exceptional customer service is provided in all food and beverage areas.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Supervise, train, and motivate food and beverage staff.
- Schedule and manage employee shifts, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Address and resolve employee issues or conflicts.
- Provide ongoing training to staff on service standards and procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Coordinate and supervise events, banquets, and special functions.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Touring ceremony & event spaces
- Meeting with clients to go over timeline, event menu, wedding details & floor plans
- Creating & customizing event floor plans
- Scheduling appointments such as the final details meeting, tastings & rehearsals
- Accepting & handling of payments
- Coordinating the wedding ceremony, grand entrances & dinner start time
- Liaison between the client & operations manager and chef to ensure all the details are communicated
- Book, coordinate, service, and build floorplans and contracts, as well as schedule meetings for currently booked and potential events.
- Responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage activities within the Restaurant & Golf Course when the Sr. Food and Beverage is not on site while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.
- Promptly and professionally respond to event inquiries and questions.
- Work with the Sr. Food and Beverage and Executive Chef to ensure the highest guest service and food quality standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Attend weekly F&B management meetings to discuss upcoming events, sales, successes and struggles in the department. Discuss how to communicate these items with staff.

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using computerized systems for ordering, inventory, and financial tracking.

An ability to understand and use a Point of Sale (POS) system.

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and all levels of management.

You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion and work in a fast-paced environment.

Smart Serve Certificate required.

Ability to work on a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Expected Start Date: April 2025

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
