Camp Counsellor/multisport Specialist

**Supercamp **is a non-profit day camp located in Ville St. Laurent. We welcome about 300 campers and leaders each week, allowing them the opportunity to try new things, discover new passions and develop new skills. Come and join our staff of more than 50 counsellors and specialists
**Main duties as a Multisport Specialist**
Animate groups of children and ensure their safety during the activities. Create and organize different activities and follow the program set forth by the administration of the camp. Prepare and give different sports sessions and drills to their group. The main focus of the Multisport program at Supercamp is to introduce children to new sports. Collaborate with other counsellors to create group games and activities. Prepare daily activities for their group. Ensure the safety of participants at all times. etc.
**Requirements**:
- Education: _
- Grade 10 (Sec. 4) (16 years old minimum)
- Skills: _
- Ability to work and communicate properly with a team
- Ability to take on leadership roles
- Sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Ability to adapt. Energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work well with children and parents
- Good communication skills with a demonstrated enthusiasm for working with youth
- General knowledge in fitness and different sports (basketball, soccer, track and field, etc.)
- Bilingualism (French/English)
- Non-Scholarly Training: _
- AA-AAA player experience and/or coaching certification considered
- Previous camp experience considered
- CIT/DAFA formation considered
- Valid first aid certification
**Conditions**
- Hours: 40 hours/week
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

**Experience**:
- camp (counsellor/animation): 1 year (preferred)
- playing competitive sports: 1 year (preferred)
