**Job Title**: Drunk Elephant Sales and Education Executive - Ontario East
**Reports to**: _National Sales and Education Manager_
**Locations**: Downtown Toronto, GTA, Markham, Vaughan, Newmarket, Aurora, Barrie, New Sudbury, Scarborough, Oshawa, Ajax, and Kingston for 46 retailer locations
**Job purpose**
Provide strategic, operational and creative leadership to assigned retail accounts. Develop strong relationships with the retail management and staff to achieve sales targets for brand. Key responsibilities include development and execution of marketing, sales strategies, and event initiatives to achieve Retail and Net sales plans while implementing strong education strategies for product knowledge and selling techniques
**Key responsibilities**
Sales Planning & Execution
- Achieve Net and Retail sales targets for assigned brands for all accounts by partnering with retail management, motivating and managing sales staff and implementing marketing initiatives on a monthly basis.
- Maximize profit contribution by increasing sales and door productivity, managing monthly budget and expenses, and negotiating additional retailer support.
- Support retailer accounts by conducting monthly business reviews, monitor retailer orders, assigned account tester orders, and implement necessary merchandising updates on location in all assigned accounts throughout province.
- Organize brand collateral inventory shipments for retailer allocations (gratis, samples, etc.)
- Produce weekly/monthly internal productivity and sales recaps for Manager
- Work with Manager to implement impactful quarterly sales strategy including monthly travel, training, and retailer visit calendar.
- Coordinate retail market tours during corporate team visits
Account Service
- Provide exceptional service to assigned store accounts with personalized in-store sales support and product training
- Work with store management teams to develop strong relationships, analyze retail results and identify opportunities to develop the business to achieve and exceed sales plans
- Conduct business reviews in all key accounts
- Conduct seasonal marketing presentations to accounts both virtually and on location with brand collateral
- Recruitment, scheduling, and management of freelance demo support team of five
- Plan, execute and participate in weekly/monthly special store events to create brand awareness
- Host monthly educational training sessions for retail accounts both virtually and on location
Motivating Retailer Beauty Advisors
- Manage, mentor and develop Beauty Advisors in all assigned stores
- Maximize job satisfaction, increase productivity and reduce turnover rate
- Provide in-store coaching of business skills, product knowledge and selling techniques
Upholding the Shiseido Corporate and Brand Values
- Representing the brand image by upholding the corporate brand values and standards in corporate and public settings
- Communicating the Drunk Elephant story and Shiseido corporate culture
- Be proactive and creative with problem-solving attributes to evolve with market conditions
- Respect and be accountable for following all Shiseido Corporate and Brand Guidelines
**Qualifications**
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiating and organizational abilities
- Minimum 2 years retail sales and training experience ideally in the cosmetic industry
- Valid driver’s license to travel to all assigned accounts and stores with personal vehicle (with valid proof of insurance) as needed to service all territories
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time
- Strong business aptitude, visual presentation skills and public speaking skills
- Must be available to work weekends when assigned to elevated store events
