**Server/ Bar Staff**

**Duties**:

- Greet and seat customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about the menu.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bar area.
- Handle cash, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Provide a positive and friendly atmosphere for guests.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality work well with the public
- Available for evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to use and learn new technology (food apps, kitchen and pos software)
- Serving experience _an asset but not required_
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Food Handlers Certified/Smart Serve Certified (or willing to get certified)
- **PLEASE STATE IF YOU HAVE -**Experience with preparing Caribbean food an asset
- **PLEASE STATE IF YOU HAVE -** Understanding of Jamaican Patois language & Jamaican culture an asset
- Must be at least 18 years old (or legal drinking age) to serve alcoholic beverages.
