**You as a Mechanical / Electrical Estimator will**:

- Assist in the bid process while building strong relationships with sub-trades and manufacturing representatives
- Assemble accurate, timely, and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management, and design-build in a methodical and systematic manner
- Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders, and assisting the buy-out process
- Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern, and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price
- Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs, for future reference
- Review drawings and tender documents to understand the scope of work and submission requirements
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders, specifically sub-trade contractors and manufacturing representatives
- Recognizes risks related to project-specific requirements, site, schedule, and market conditions /constraints
- Completes full quantity take-off of all labor, equipment, and materials for medium to large projects
- Coordinate scopes with Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, and Structural divisions/team members

**Is this the right role for you?**
- Intermediate/Senior experience working in construction estimating or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- You have a working knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
- Experience on capable of working on conceptual estimates with mínimal information on ICI, civil, and design-build projects
- Ability to calculate mathematical extensions, read and understand engineering drawings, scope narratives, contracts, cost coding systems, etc. is essential
