Position Summary:
This role pays an hourly rate of $18 CAD, plus tips.

About the Venue:
Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium is a historic and iconic baseball venue nestled in the scenic Queen Elizabeth Park area of Vancouver. Serving as the home of the Vancouver Canadians, the High-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, the stadium has hosted professional baseball for decades. Originally built in 1951 and named after Nat Bailey, a cherished local entrepreneur and baseball enthusiast, the stadium has been a beloved landmark and a centerpiece of Vancouver’s sports culture for generations.
Known for its charm and intimate atmosphere, the stadium offers fans a quintessential baseball experience, complete with stunning views of the city and surrounding mountains. With seating for over 6,000 fans, it features modern amenities while preserving its vintage ballpark appeal. The stadium is celebrated for its family-friendly environment, enthusiastic crowd, and unique concession offerings, making it a beloved destination for sports and entertainment in Vancouver.
Responsibilities: Operate the Point of Sale system, accurately taking orders, assemble orders, and completing transactions in a timely manner.
Learn & demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of concession operations.Monitor stock and supply levels, promptly notifying the Concessions Stand Manager of low inventory to ensure seamless operations.Listen and respond effectively to customer requests, inquiries, or concerns to provide excellent service.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of dishes and equipment.Service of alcoholic beverages if over the age of 19 having completed the serving it right certification, responsibly, verifying guests’ IDs in accordance with provincial regulations to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements.
- Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 16 or over. 19 or over with Serving it Right to serve alcohol.Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferredPrevious cash handling experience preferred.Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
