**Jb Descriptin**:
**Brief Overview**

The MEP Manager will reprt t the VP, Operatins and will prvide verall supprt t the prject and assists the prject team with verall prject perfrmance including csts, schedule, quality, and prject status. The MEP Manager prvides leadership and expertise in M&E t the prject teams.

**Key Functins & Duties**

Identifies pprtunities fr prcess and building system installatin impr
- vements (i.e. Value Engineering)

Cmmunicates and crdinates with the Owner, Cnsultants and Cnstructin Team fr clarificatin f prject Scpe f W
- rk Accuntable fr applicatins fr water, gas and pwer utilities and btains supprt frm the Prject Superintendents related t prject specific lads f
- r the related utility. Reviews cmplete set f Tender Dcuments fr the Building System Trades alngside the Prject team and prvides supp
- rt where needed in clarifying technical requirements. Reviews bid Levelling Sheets and partakes in Bid Levelling review meetings fr Building System trades (i.e., Underslab Drainage, Mechanical, Sprinkler, Ventilatin and Electrical, Elevatr, P
- l & Security packages), as needed. Review Recmmendatin Letter(s) t
- the Owner Ensures accuracy f infrmatin within prpsal d
- cuments Prvide supprt in Building System trade Pr
- ject Kick-Off Meetings. (i.e., attend meetings as needed)

Attends Site Meetings that cntain a Building System cmp
- nent. Partake in Building System Meetings as MEP issues becme prevalent. Prvide supprt t Prject Teams in getting slutins with C
- nsultants. Assist with the review f Majr Building System Equipment Submittals like Majr Mechanical Equipment, Majr Electrical Equipment and Elevatr/Escalat
- r Submittals. Wrk with Prject Teams n verifying MEP Changes fr changes $100,000
- r greater.

Participate in Prject Walkthrughs with Architect, Engineer & Prject Teams t review Building System Punchlist and prvide supprt t Prject Teams n reslving Building System Punchlist items and fll
- wing up with the related subtrade(s). Ensure Life Safety Systems are ready f
- r Occupancy. Wrk with Prject Team and cmmunicate with Building Inspectr as needed t
- ensure Occupancy requirements are being met. Ensure all Building System Clse ut Dcuments are received frm the crrespnding party (i.e. Cnsultant, Subtrade, Cmmissi
- ning Agent) Lead Cmmissining Meetings f
- r the Building System Trades Prmtes a team atmsphere t give the mst pprtunity fr the staff t learn frm each

**Qualificatins**:
**Educatin and Experience Requirements**

Pst-secndary educatin degree r diplma in a cnstructin related area
- f study. Minimum f eight (8) years f direct MEP leadership experience wrking in high-rise / ICI cnstructi
- n. In-depth knwledge f the cnstructin industry and cmpany peratins specifically cnstructin specificatins, building materials, methds and pr
- cedures. Strng prblem identificatin and prblem resluti
- n skills.

Thrugh knwledge f quality management, risk management practices and techniques, prcurement, cnstructin dcuments, cntracts and cntract law, prject reprting and scheduling & c
- nstructability. Strng cnflict management skills and the ability t be persuasive and m
- tivating. Ability t lead a team and devel
- p talent. Able t build and maintain lasting relatinships with all business units, crprate departments, key managers, and ther stakeh
