Title: Live-In Caregiver

Company: Gateway Holistic

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized care to clients in accordance with their care plan.

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping.

Utilize holistic care techniques to improve client well-being

Assist in managing the client's healthcare plans and maintain proper communication with healthcare providers and guardians

Take the initiative to address any care-related concerns or potential improvements.

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and performance improvement activities as necessary.

Exercise leadership by coordinating care plans, directing support staff, and contributing to the development and implementation of client care protocols.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a live-in setting.

Knowledge of holistic care practices and principles for those with developmental disabilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
