**Job Brief**:
Air Canada Vacations is hiring a French Translator / Vacances Air Canada recrute un/une Traducteur (trice).

Le ou la titulaire du poste sera responsable de la traduction de divers éléments de commerce électronique et de produits, ainsi que d’autres projets de marketing et de communication internes et externes, selon les besoins.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**:

- Traduire les projets de commerce électronique, y compris de renseignements sur les hôtels et les produits disponibles en ligne.
- Assister dans la traduction ou la révision de divers outils de communication comme des brochures, des encarts, des annonces publicitaires pour les quotidiens et les magazines, des circulaires, des bulletins et des communiqués de presse et du contenu Web incluant des pages statiques, blogues et publications sur les réseaux sociaux, selon les besoins.
- Traduire les demandes ponctuelles de divers services (RH, TI, finances, etc.)
- Participer à la traduction de projets marketing et des campagnes promotionnelles, selon les besoins.
- Prioriser les demandes et traduire les documents de l’anglais vers le français.
- S’assurer de la qualité et de l’exactitude des traductions ainsi que du respect de ces dernières en ce qui a trait aux lois linguistiques du Québec.
- S’assurer que le contenu reflète l’image de marque.

**CONNAISSANCES ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES**:

- Baccalauréat en traduction, littérature française, linguistique, journalisme ou dans un domaine connexe
- Parfaite maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (à l’oral et à l’écrit)
- De 0 à 3 ans d’expérience dans un poste de traduction
- Bon sens de l’organisation et souci du détail
- Efficace, bon esprit d’initiative, précis et capable de s’adapter aux circonstances
- Capacité à travailler sous pression, de façon autonome et sur plusieurs projets à la fois dans le but de respecter des échéances serrées
- Bonne connaissance pratique de Microsoft Office

The French Translator is responsible for the translation of various eCommerce and product content, and other internal and external marketing and communication projects, as required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Translate eCommerce projects, including hotel and product information available online.
- Assist in the translation of various communication tools such as brochures, flyers, newspaper and magazine advertisements, newsletters, press releases, and web content such as static pages, blogs, and social media, as needed.
- Translate ad-hoc requests from other departments (HR, Finance, IT, etc.)
- Participate in the translation of marketing projects and promotional campaigns, as needed.
- Prioritize requests and translate documents from English to French.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of translations as well as their compliance with Quebec's language laws.
- Ensure that the content reflects the brand image.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, French Literature, Linguistics, Journalism, or related field/experience
- Perfectly fluent in French and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Between 0 to 3 years experience as a translator
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Efficient and very detail-oriented, demonstrating initiative, flexibility and great accuracy
- Ability to adapt quickly, work independently and multi-task
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
