**Salad & Sandwich Artist**

Edge Catering is an established, thriving corporate and event catering company. Our custom-built facility is located in the East Village and features a Café, 5000sq ft. catering kitchen, baking and pastry kitchen, tasting room and offices.

We are looking for an experienced Sandwich Artist to join our team.

General Responsibilities:

- Prep and package daily order for corporate and special events
- Follow detailed worksheet orders
- Make allergy specific item to customers needs
- Integrate with our team and work environment
- Follow all recipes and standards
- Write and follow prep lists
- Organize and maintain freezers, fridges and storage
- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work spaces

**Requirements**:

- 2 years experience as a cook or in food service
- FoodSafe level 1
- Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)

We are currently hiring for full time and part time positions. Full time schedule is usually Monday-Friday with 5am - 6am start times depending on volume. Weekend and part-time days may vary depending on business.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
As per the BC government PHO masks are to be worn in public areas and proof of vaccine will be required in café.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
