The Claresholm Child Care Society - Kidz Zone, is a non-profit organization located in Claresholm, Alberta, just an hour south of Calgary. We operate a licensed out-of-school care program for children aged 5 years - 12 years of age. Our mission is to provide a warm, secure environment that fosters wonder and discovery in learning.

**Summary**

We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team at the Kidz Zone Out of School Program. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for young children. Your contributions will help promote their social, intellectual, and creative development through play.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programming that promote children's growth, based on the children's interests.
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's development and well-being.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities and development milestones.
- Work well in small team atmosphere and can work as well independently.

**Requirements**:

- Alberta Child Care Certification Level 2, at minimum, or Level 3.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire young learners.
- Experience working in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience with School Age Children (5-12 years)
- Extremely dependable and wanting to work long term.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
