Oxford Learning St. Catharines has an opening for an upbeat, passionate, committed, enthusiastic, and dynamic French teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Our French and English Programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits.

General Qualifications:

- A sparkling, energetic personality
- Must have superior oral communication and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and enjoys interaction with young people
- Dedicated and passionate about teaching and seeing students succeed

Specific Qualifications:
Completion of some university required
Experience working with children and youth
Experience in a teaching or tutoring environment
Knowledge and experience working with students with special needs

Important Notes:
This position is for Mondays and Wednesdays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-7:15pm.

Tutoring is 3:1 ratio with students with varying needs, abilities and grade levels.

Private tutoring or tutoring for another organization (Tutor Bright, Kumon, etc.) is considered a conflict of interest and is not allowed. Working for public education (DSBN or NCDSB) is allowed and encouraged.

All tutors are required to provide a criminal background check.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
