This is a** Full**-time, Permanent**role located at **West Vancouver Community Branch** **(Branch 05**)**and reports directly to the Branch Manager. Parking will be provided.
**_ _**A typical day would involve**:
- Providing comprehensive, financial and relationship-based advice in order to grow and maintain assigned and unassigned members' portfolios.
- Identifying and assessing member/prospect needs to provide appropriate products and services which include signature lending, secured lending, mortgages, term deposits and the like.
- Recognizing and making appropriate referrals to Vancity Specialized Teams such as Sustainable Wealth Management, Wealth Protection, Business Banking and others, to deliver comprehensive support to our members.
- Meeting targets as defined by objectives that will contribute to profitability for the branch and Vancity.

**You Have**:
- **AM I**:
- **A High school diploma**:
- At a minimum, you have graduated high school and/or equivalent
- **Completion of Financial Planning Coursework-**You have taken _Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning or Financial Planning 1 and the CUIC 210_
- **Financial Industry Experience**:
- One year of member service experience in the financial industry
**AM II**
- **A High school diploma**:
- At a minimum, you have graduated high school and/or equivalent
- **Minimum of 2 years in the AM I role**:
- **Completion of Financial Planning Coursework-**You have taken _Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning or Financial Planning 1 and two additional courses in a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) core curriculum program._
- **Completed Investments coursework** - You have taken _Investment Funds in Canada_ (IFC) or _Canadian Investment Funds_ Course (CIFC) or _Canadian Securities_ Course (CSC)
- **Financial Industry Experience**:
- 3 years of year of member service experience in the financial industry
**Bonus Points**:
- Banking and/or call center experience would be an asset
- Lending experience
**Hourly Range**: _The salary range for the role is_ $36.68 _to _$45.64._ The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill._
