Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods, a leading specialty grocery store with locations in Bedford & Halifax, is committed to providing superior quality products and a unique shopping experience through their dedicated and diverse team members

The Bakery Clerk position helps the department manager ensure departmental standards of excellent customer service, high quality product, proper food safety, and efficient procedures are maintained.

To be successful in this role:

- One or more years of experience in a customer service environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Confidence, drive and enthusiasm
- Decision-making and problem-solving abilities and a sense of responsibility
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Strong Interpersonal & team building skills
- Adaptability
- Product Knowledge - knowledge of food products

Work involves continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment and on the retail floor

Typical motions include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching

Responsible for moving and lifting an average of 10 - 40lbs with a maximum weight lifted of 50lbs occasionally

May be exposed to various allergens and work environments, including temperature changes

Will be required to spend the majority of time standing
