**Position Summary**:
This course focuses on the roles and relationships between leaders and followers. With leadership’s emerging focus on the important roles of followers and followership, this course explores various types of followers and follower-leader dynamics. Through studies of productive and toxic follower-leader relationships, students will explore the kinds of choices that leaders and followers face in their respective roles. Issues of power, powerlessness, and followership development will be covered in a way that helps prepare students for their current and future roles as leaders and followers.

**This course has multiple sections and a common course outline. This course will be coordinated. All instructors will be required to follow a proposed course outline.

**Qualifications - Required**: Master’s Degree, PhD Preferred

**Qualifications - Discipline**: Leadership, Management, Organizational Studies, Sociology

**Qualifications - Other**: Applicants must have:

- Prior university-level teaching experience in Leadership at the post-secondary level is required.

Please note:

- Teaching experience limited to serving as a Teaching Assistant to or to delivering guest lectures will not be considered.
- In addition, applicants whose Leadership Education qualifications are limited to the context of elementary and/or secondary schools will not be considered

**Salary**: $9,206.40
