**Description of role**:
Full-time meat cutter

**Tasks**:
Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat using a band saw, a cubing machine, a vacuum machine, patty machine, meat grinder, and knives.

Prepare special displays of meat and poultry.

Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats.

Manage inventory and freshness of products according to store and customer standards.

Ensure working area is sanitary, and that all equipment is in proper working order.

Adhere to health and safety standards required by the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

To serve the customer to the utmost satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

**Skills and requirements**:
Completion of secondary school.

Basic mathematical skills

Knowledge of anatomy is an asset.

Previous experience with customer service is an asset.

Previous training and job experience is an asset.

On-the-job training regarding health & safety, and meat cutting is provided.

Ability to work alone, as well as, in a team environment

Ability to learn new technologies and machinery in a timely manner.

**Work schedule**:
Must be able to work day shifts during the week, as well as, on weekends.

**Benefits**:
Available after 1 year of employment

**Salary: $15-$22/hour depending on experience**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
