**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the Lead Hand and Fabrication team
- Responsible for delegating daily tasks to all shop personnel
- Assisting in scheduling projects according to the Master Production Schedule
- Responsible for all shop tooling & maintenance
- Responsible for JHSC, making sure monthly meetings are taking place
- Responsible for daily shop production meetings
- Responsible for all shop personal training, confirming everyone is given the right amount of training for success
- Responsible for scheduling shop needs when applicable (i.e. crane loadings, transport trucks, audits, testing) and ensuring that it is within project budget
- Work Closely with Operations & Quality to complete all project redlines for final documentation
- Assisting Operations with hiring and terminating employees as needed
- Work closely with Operations to ensure each job has the proper amount of manpower for completion
- Work closely with Operations Manager, confirming best practice is taken place
- Work closely with Procurement / PM team to obtain required parts and material in proper sequencing for each project
- Work closely with the Design team to review drawings, ensuring best build practice is being used
- Participate and lead the manufacturing team to ensure quality control meets high company standards
- To lead the shop personnel following the company’s core values (Safety, Teamwork, Quality, Fun, Customer Focused)
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures with continuously changing working environments

**Experience**
- Effective organization and communication skills with customers, inspectors and coworkers in both verbal and written forms
- Demonstrated decision-making skills for allocating personnel and subcontractor resources appropriately for projects to meet deadlines and budgets
- Technical skills for interpreting construction methods and technologies along with contracts and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Great Spatial visualization
- Resourceful
- Required to have experience with welding quality assurance
- Required to have experience and understanding with sheet metal design, welding and fabrication
- Required to have a basic understanding with electrical design
- Required to have experience with building codes such as, CSA, B139, UL 142/ULC s601
- Ideal to have a basic understanding in Generator / Electrical House industry
- Familiarity with MS Office such as (Excel, Word, Teams)

Pay: $104,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
