**About the Role**:
The Hearing Wellness Advisor is a hybrid role that blends patient coordination with wellness support. This position ensures our patients receive the highest level of care, service, and attention throughout their journey. The goal of the Hearing Wellness Advisor is to help patients understand the benefits of hearing aids, feel confident in using and maintaining them, and ensure they experience the full life-changing value of restored hearing.

**Responsibilities Patient Care & Education**
- Welcome patients and assist with inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring follow-up care is completed.
- Maintain accurate records in our EMR system.
- Teach patients how to use and care for their hearing aids.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to reduce returns and maximize satisfaction.
- Host group seminars and learning sessions to help patients get the most from their hearing aids.

**Sales & Support**
- Support patients in selecting the most suitable hearing aid style and technology.
- Assist with insurance claims, government funding, and extended benefits.
- Encourage accessory purchases that improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives.

**Clinic Operations**
- Manage stock and supplies of hearing devices and accessories.
- Assist front desk operations with calls, intake, and patient communication.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth daily clinic flow.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a healthcare, dental, or medical office setting preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and scheduling software an asset.
- Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Willingness to learn hearing aid basics, technology benefits, and insurance/funding processes.
- Sales and customer service experience is preferred.
