Manager Technology Transfer

Manage technology transfer team and oversee projects

  • Chair regular meetings and correspondence between various departments (i.e. R&D, Production, QA etc.)
  • Lead, track, follow up and monitor project activities to ensure alignment with expectations and agreed-upon timeline
  • Maintain document/information repository
  • Works with researchers during manufacturing process development
  • Responsible for overseeing development, manufacturing/packaging processes (from scale-up) to their full commercial scale
  • Responsible for writing manufacturing masters of pilot batches and commercial batches
  • Transfer products from the R&D scale to the commercial scale: prepare the transfer and identify special needs, responsible for validation batches, implementing action plans in case of failure or the need for optimization while also responsible for updating manufacturing masters following the transfer
  • Approves reports and manages procedures
  • Responsible for product improvements
  • Responsible for product/process improvement projects (from business case until project completion)
  • Provide technical support for active ingredient/excipient source change projects and for site change projects
  • Provide technical support as needed for products manufactured externally
  • Coaches, trains and develops the team’s successors. Identifies key personnel

**Experience**

  • Minimum 7 years’ previous experience in tech transfer and/or process development or similar field
  • Previous supervisory experience and effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong Leadership skills and ability to successfully lead a team
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing / operational processes
  • B. Sc. in science related field
