**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Reporting to the Cable Lead, the Junior Cable Technician is responsible for assisting with the soldering, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cable assemblies and related equipment. The role requires the individual to have basic technical knowledge, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality.
**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Assist with the smoldering and assembly of cable assemblies and related equipment under supervision.
- Execute routine shop functions including cutting, striping, package, zip tying, heat shrinking, and performing the Loctite procedure.
- Perform maintenance requirements on machines and maintain working area and equipment.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports on equipment.
- Other cabling and QC related tasks as required.
- Participate in company safety program and contribute to safe working environment.
**WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
- Quick problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately
- Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Capacity to offer suggestions on process improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
