The Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development (DNRED) is seeking an individual to join the Fish and Wildlife Branch as a Regional Biologist, in Fredericton.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**: A Bachelor of Science in Biology or Natural Resources Management, including course work in Freshwater Fisheries and/or Wildlife Management; a minimum of five (5) years of experience in inland fisheries or wildlife management, including a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with native fish and wildlife species and ecosystems. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

**OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:Conducting both terrestrial and aquatic field work including performing physically demanding tasks and working in all seasons and weather conditions; wearing and using protective safety clothing and equipment; travelling by vehicle, aircraft, boat, ATV and snowmobile as required; working evenings, weekends and extended hours as required; possession of a valid class 5 driver licence as issued by the Province of New Brunswick, or equivalent.

**SALARY: $61,204 to $85,514 per annum**
