Remediclean is Southern Alberta’s premier asbestos, mould and hazardous material abatement service. We are based in Calgary and have a branch in Lethbridge, dedicated to providing safe and timely service while prioritizing the health of our employees and clients.
**Summary**
We are seeking a Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Calgary. This role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely while upholding our commitment to excellence in hazardous material abatement. The Supervisor will play a key role in leading our team and maintaining high safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate on-site abatement activities (asbestos, mould, biohazard, debris disposal, selective demolition).
- Promote a strong safety culture by leading daily hazard assessments, holding toolbox meetings, and enforcing company policies.
- Organize workflow and jobsite setup to meet timelines and client requirements.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to employees and temporary staff.
- Act as a point of contact with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on progress and challenges.
**Qualifications**
- Previous supervisory background in construction or hazardous materials removal.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Legally permitted to work in Canada.
- Physically fit to handle lifting (up to 70 lbs), moving contents, and standing for long periods.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- TDG Certification (preferred).
- Asbestos Abatement Worker Certification (preferred).
- First Aid training (preferred).
Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
