**Job Summary**
We are looking for a for a _**JR Field service technician**_ for our client, that has been a leader in the custom design and manufacturing of cleaning and doctoring systems for the **pulp & paper industry**with plants across Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Recent demand for their products has created an important opening for a qualified individual to service our machine products in North America.

**The successful applicant will provide maintenance and repair services to paper mills in various locations.**

**Key Qualifications**:

- Mechanical Technician Diploma/Mechanical Certificate
- Field experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting is essential.
- Capacity to build confidence with plant employees.
- **Experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial pulp and paper equipment is an asset.** (Training provided)
- Preference and ability to work independently.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brockville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- mechanical/electrical: 1 year (required)
- pulp & paper industry: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G License (required)
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
