**About us**: The Whistler Brewing Company Taphouse is a BC owned and locally operated business located in Function Junction, Whistler BC. We are a very small team of 5 employees in the taphouse. You could be the 6th

**Objective**:We're looking for a Cook to start work immediately to work 4 days a week, set schedule Fri - Mon approx 30hrs per week.

**Shifts**: These are the approximate shifts we are looking to fill each week. You would work alone some days and at times along side one other Cook during peak times.

Friday 4pm
- 10pm

Sat, Sun & Mon 11:45am
- 7:45pm

**Menu**:The menu consists of 8-10 very simple items with mínimal prep and only the use of a new convection oven (no fryer or cook top). Menu items include nachos, pretzels, samosas, potato skins and a selection of pizzas. Check ot the menu here

**Job description**
- The Cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking & running the dishwasher while maintaining and upholding all company policies & procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare & cook food items as ordered.
- Make sure kitchen & storage are clean throughout the day and ensure the kitchen is cleaned, prepped and stock at the end of the day.
- Ensure fridge and freezer are kept clean & organized.
- Control inventory through labelling & rotation
- Run dishwasher
- Food running (from time to time)
- Ready and able to help other staff in other departments.
- Maintain & uphold all company policies & procedures.
- Follow all Food Safe regulations
- Basic Cooking skills: 1-2 Years of kitchen experience an asset
- Food Safe Certified
- Able to work at a quick pace
- Able to work independently and on a team
- Able to complete task in a timely manner unsupervised
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and work in small kitchen
- Must have accomodation in Whistler or Sea to Sky region

- **Length of Service Premium: After 1 year of continuous service: $520 per annum (converted & paid hourly) - $0.25 per hour After 3 years of continuous service: $1,040 per annum (converted & paid hourly) - $0.50 per hour After 5 years of continuous service: $2,080 per annum (converted & paid hourly) - $1.00 per hour *Part time employee earn half the amount.**

**Wage**:
The position pays $18/hr + 3% cash tip out on all food, draft & non-alcoholic sales. After 90 days the hourly rate increased to $18.75
